AUSTIN BUCHANAN HAYNES a.k.a. KANNON OL'FRAUST
Austin was born in Asheville, North Carolina into a very musical family. He was raised in a record store and was influenced by many styles of music. Growing up his parents dragged him to various rock concerts, so he spent almost all his time listening to music. By the age 18 he had seen more concerts than most adults. When he was 15, he got a couple turntable
s and started his first band. They mainly did talent shows and a small amount of recording. Around that time he started making beats and rapping with different local artists. About a year later the 'ville boyz were formed. Austin's beat making influences are Timbaland, Manny Fresh and The Neptunes. His earliest influences ranged from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the Allman Brothers and everything in between. His present-day influences include Nas, Eminem, Outkast, Bone Thugs, and Haystack.
CHRIS MILLS a.k.a. C.MILLS
Chris Mills was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. Chris grew up loving music and always waned to do something involving music. About three years ago he started to pursue his need to work with music by rapping with the ville boyz. The 'ville is a small place with nothing to do except smoke and drink. Chris tried both. Chris found out he was to become a father. As a senior he dropped out of high school to work full time at a good paying job. He needed to be able to support the family he would soon have. Now his main priorities are taking care of his son and making his music. Chris's musical influences are 8 Ball, Nas, Lil Wayne and Outkast. |

CARNELL JERRY REYNOLDS a.k.a. MICROPHONE MAGICIAN, a.k.a. LYRICAL KING
Carnell Reynolds was born in Oakland, California on July 7, 1985. He has lived in Asheville, North Carolina since before he was one. He explored many different fields in high school and graduated in May 2003. He spent most of his life in his room writing songs. It is probably safe to say that he had more songs than the other ville boyz combined. He also writes stories and poems. Carnell's influences range from rock and roll to hiphop/rap, jazz, R&B, and some country.
JOHNNY WESLEY REYNOLDS a.k.a. JOHN BOY
John was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. He first stated writing music with his brother, Carnelle and several friends from and after school program called STEAM. Shortly after that Carnelle introduced Johnny introduced Johnny to Austin and Chris. Austin lived two blocks from STEAM so everyday Johnny would hang out with "the boyz". They would chill and listen to music. This was the beginning of the 'ville boyz. Johnny's earliest musical influences were the Fugees, Bone Thugs, Goodie Mob, Busta Rhymes and Master P. Today he is influenced by Field Mob, Nappy Roots, 8 Ball, UGK, B.G. and Nas.
